Aalen, Deutschland - A radiant day for Aalen: The new city daycare center Marie Curie on the forest campus was inaugurated! Mayor Frederick Brütting described the opening as a "very special moment". The daycare center, which was built on a spacious area of ​​1,000 square meters, offers space for 80 children in five groups, including two U- and three Ü3 groups. Brütting emphasized the close connection to the university and the inspiring environment that the children can expect here. With twelve committed educators who have already been hired, the daycare center is well positioned in order to enable the little discoverers to have a positive development. The choice of the name Marie Curie, a double Nobel laureate in physics and chemistry, underlines the scientific focus of the facility.

The Chancellor of the Aalen University, Ulrike Messerschmidt, praised the positive atmosphere in the daycare center and emphasized that it was a place where children can learn in a playful way. The new daycare manager Julia Hellriegel is optimistic about the future and reports on the recording of children from the previous facilities in Einstein and Albstift. The Catholic and Evangelical Church also joined the congratulations and wished the daycare center of God's blessing. An exciting chapter for Aalen has started!
