Free school Aalen: Nisa brings a breath of fresh air to learn!
The vision becomes a reality! The Free School Aalen, which was recently born from a courageous idea, now has a name: "Nisa". The initiators, Mara Orban and Pascal Gröger, are enthusiastic and announce that this name stands for sustainability, individuality, self -determination and mindfulness. "Nisa" also means "never full" - a powerful commitment to lifelong learning!
The school start-up association already has seven committed members and a growing network of supporters. About a dozen interested parties, including parents, retired teachers and students, have registered to help you start school. "The interest is overwhelming!", Orban is pleased. At various events, including the Aalen hands -on conference, the initiators were able to win many new faces.
Unique pedagogical concept
Another major update: The pedagogical concept was submitted to the Stuttgart regional council in early October. In a comprehensive document, the special focus of the Free School Aalen, including the innovative "Minkt" approach, is integrated into the MINT subjects. "We want to promote creative problem solutions!" Explains Orban. The focus is also on education for sustainable development.
The tension increases! By May 2025, the founders have to wait for the approval in order to finally be able to get started in September 2025. The association is already working intensively to find suitable rooms and to procure the first materials. The school will initially take around 20 children in mixed -age groups. Teachers with the second state examination are also sought to bring the innovative concept to life. "We need passionate educators who are ready to shape the school!" Says Orban.
