A dramatic accident occurred in Ostallgäu when a 19-year-old driver was traveling from Hörmanshofen towards Bernbach with his car. On Friday evening, the young driver skidded in an S-curve and lost control of his vehicle. The car raced from the road, grazed a tree and overturned in an adjacent meadow. Fortunately, the driver was only slightly injured and was taken to the hospital.

Influence of alcohol and driving license withdrawal

The police found during the accident that the driver was under the influence of alcohol. A pre -test resulted in an alarming value of over 1.1 per thousand. His driver's license was immediately secured and he received an advertisement for danger to road traffic. Luckily that the accident was not more serious!
