Krone, Österreich - On May 18, 2025, ŠKODA presented the design study Slavia B, an innovative electrically powered motorcycle concept that combines the history of the company with futuristic design. The name "Slavia B" is a tribute to a historical model by Laurin & Klement from the early 1900s and thus reflects the long -term tradition in vehicle production. The origin of ŠKODA goes back to 1895 when the company began as a bicycle manufacturer and later entered motorcycle production. The Slavia B was designed by Romain Bucaille, a talented exterior designer, who used the new “Modern Solid” design language. Visually, the Slavia B is reminiscent of a futuristic café racer, shaped by clear lines and a minimalist approach. A central point of the design is the Laurin-&-Klement logo, which is placed where a combustion engine is normally housed and thus maintains the connection to tradition. The front section quotes historical motorcycle models and refers to the pioneering work by Václav Laurin, which is an important aspect of the study.

Another remarkable feature of Slavia B is the integrated leather tool bag that is reminiscent of the sporty legacy of ŠKODA. The rear of the motorcycle is minimalistic; A floating leather saddle and a rear light on the underside give the study a modern, elegant touch. Despite the impressive design approaches, ŠKODA has made it clear that Slavia B is only a "pure design finger exercise" and is not planning a series model.
