Austria in the crisis: Companies are calling for immediate government reforms!

Austria's industry is fighting for survival! With a terrifying decline of 9.5 % in industrial production within one year, the country is in one of the worst crises in its history. While the country is in the third year of recession, the pressure is increasing due to geopolitical changes in Europe. industrial decree makes it clear: de-industrialization is progressing, and the loss of added value is alarming. Every 15 euros of industrial added value has disappeared in the past two years. The economic situation is not only worrying, but also endangers the entire society! Only one capable and reform -oriented federal government can remedy this, call for more than 40 CEOs from industry in their current petition to the parliament.

The urgency of the reforms

With a clear message to the political decision -makers, the signatories underline the need for consistent action to re -discontinue the competitiveness of Austria. As reported, the structural problems, caused by high costs for work, energy and bureaucracy, have become increasingly serious. The petition calls on the parties to take on state -political responsibility and to find effective solutions to secure the economic basis of the country.
