In a spectacular incident on the A8 in Upper Austria, an 18-year-old from Lower Austria became the hostage of his own frenzy when he was traveling in the car with his girlfriend. Around 2 a.m. a civil patrol tried to stop him, but the young driver accelerated and raced away at over 200 km/h. This reports ORF Oberösterreich . After persecution of about 27 kilometers, the driver ultimately lost control of his vehicle in Kematen am Innbach, where he raced through the village at a speed of 132 km/h. His car overturned and landed on the roof. Both the young man and his girlfriend were injured and had to be taken to the hospital, such as police Lower Austria .
