The police struck again! On November 8 and 9, 2024, numerous speed measurements were carried out in the Märkisches Kreis, and the results are shocking. Drivers should take their foot off the gas because the police have set themselves the task of holding speeds. A total of over 2,000 vehicles were recorded - a clear message that speed rules must be observed!

The first measurement took place on November 8, 2024 in Balve-Volkringhausen on Mendener Strasse, where 727 vehicles were checked at 07:25 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Attention - 76 km/h instead of the permitted 50 km/h were the highest result! There were a total of 36 warnings and two administrative offenses. Security is going on!

Who exceeded the speed?

The following measurements in Hemer-Deilinghofen, Meinerzhagen-Valbert, Werdohl and Menden also showed alarming numbers. In Hemer-Deilinghofen, 870 vehicles roar, with a maximum value of 76 km/h on a road with a limitation of 50 km/h. In Meinerzhagen-Valbert was measured around 94 km/h-far too quickly in a place at 60 km/h! The police gave 6 administrative offenses.
in Werdohl also came through 454 vehicles, with a racer with 72 km/h instead of the permitted 50 km/h being held responsible. And also in Menden-Lendringsen with 373 measured vehicles there was a case of 54 km/h instead of the permitted 30 km/h!

The measures are a clear sign of the seriousness with which the police pursue speed offenses. The current balance sheet shows that many drivers do not take the traffic rules seriously - but that will be expensive for them!
