Attention attentive readers! A shocking fraud occurred in the Dolmar-Salzbrücke administrative community! A man from a district there was the goal of a perfidious phone fraud on Friday. What started as a harmless call from the phone number of his house bank quickly turned into a nightmare. The alleged bank employee informed him of an alleged access to unauthorized persons to his account and asked him for a TAN number to secure his money. What a shock when the good -faith man actually revealed the TAN and even made an appointment for Monday with his bank!

But when he came to the bank on Monday to save his money, the bad surprise waited. The bank knew nothing, and access to his online banking was suddenly closed. The horror revealed itself: the fraudsters had already debited around 3,000 euros from his account! An SMS that he had received a few days earlier and which asked him to renew his TAN procedure could have been the key to accessing his personal data. The criminal callers had used this information perfidious to pretend to be legitimate bank employees.

The incident impressively shows how unscrupulous fraudsters act! It is urgently warned: Never give personal data on the phone or on the Internet, such as your TAN or PIN, price!
