Scandal in Hörsching: 13-year-old spray swastika at school!
in Hörsching, Upper Austria, an incident is currently causing excitement: two 13-year-old boys presumably sprayed Nazi symbols on several buildings of the local middle school, including a bus stop. According to krone.at , the youngsters are said to have decorated the walls of the bicycle parking space between December and March with shocking graffiti, including several sword crosses and the name Adolf Hitler. The school management promptly reacted on March 17 and filed a complaint against the two students who were quickly identified. During a search of their places of residence, the police even found the paint box that they used for their questionable “works of art”.
According to the reports, a suspect was particularly unhappy because despite colored traces on his clothes, he was denied in the lubrications. The parents of the two children, who are still without punishment, must now cover the costs of around 400 euros that the municipality has incurred. In order to take the matter into account, the director of the Käthe-right ice middle school, Adelheid Osawaru-Konrad, is planning a comprehensive pedagogical processing. Workshops with the Mauthausen Committee are intended to help aware of the students to the importance of respect and tolerance, supported by social learning lessons in which political education is discussed.
The school community has clearly positioned itself against such acts and announces: "For a school in which diversity counts. For a cooperation that is based on respect and humanity", as ms-hoersching.at . During this time of reflection and upbringing, the school sees the task of not only reacting to the misconduct, but actively working on the formation of value of the students.
