Sustainability up close: students are committed to our environment!
The Middle School Technical meeting is passionate about the promotion of environmental awareness and sustainable development among their students. Based on a variety of projects, including the successful “Marktwoche” in class 2a, the students learn not only basic economic knowledge, but also how important sustainable practices are in business. Under the guidance of experienced seminar farmers, they developed innovative business ideas, whereby the focus was on the use of environmentally friendly ingredients and packaging. These initiatives are an important component on the way to a responsible handling of resources, as director Andreas Rauchberger explains. The creation of a award -winning video with energy part tips is also impressive, which was integrated in all subjects in order to sensitize the students to more conscious energy consumption. A special highlight was an excursion to an alpine pasture in which the students acted as a self -catering and experienced their use of resources.
practical environmental education
But the school's efforts are not limited to classes. Practical promotions, such as garbage collections and projects for species -appropriate animal husbandry, further strengthen the pupils' environmental awareness. "The pupils regularly carry out littering and" osterputz "campaigns in order to raise awareness of a clean environment and the responsible use of resources," emphasizes Rauchberger. In addition, the outdoor area of the school in cooperation with the "healthy community" as a healthy retreat is redesigned, which promotes sustainable use of space and resources. Such projects are not only a profit for the environment, but also a practical implementation of the important principles of sustainable development. According to reports from Umwelt-im-Ingächt.de, education for sustainable development plays a crucial role in preparing students for the global challenges of the future and conveying the necessary skills to make responsible decisions.
The variety of initiatives shows how important it is to sensitize young people to topics such as resource conservation and climate protection and to offer them practical learning formats. Through creative projects, such as the upcycling initiative, the students not only learn to recognize the value of waste, but also develop a deeper connection to sustainable ways of life. With such committed approaches, the Middle School Technical meeting gives an impressive example of how education can lay the foundation for a more sustainable future.
