Kindergarten offensive in Lower Austria: 750 million for more space!
In Neunkirchen and Irnfritz-Messen, two new, modern kindergartens are now available to meet the needs of young families. The newly opened kindergarten in Neunkirchen offers space for around 150 children, who are looked after in a total of six groups and two toddler groups. There are 16 supervisors for this: inside and six educators: inside. The project cost the city around 5.7 million euros, of which 1.2 million euros went into the basic purchases and 4.5 million euros in the new building, such as Noen.at reported.
At the same time, a comprehensive addition and conversion of the kindergarten there was opened in Irnfritz-Messen. Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner praised the project, which not only includes a "dwarf group" for small children, but also a special small group of small children. A total of 67 places are now available in four groups, supervised by ten specialists. The construction costs were around 1.4 million euros, and the construction period lasted around six months. In her speech, Mikl-Leitner emphasized the importance of education in kindergartens and the support for families, which is facilitated by creating smaller groups and reduced closing times. This is done as part of a large-scale kindergarten offensive, in which the state of Lower Austria is investing 750 million euros to improve care for two to three-year-old children, such as noe.gv.at
