Carinthia's state parliament decides in 2025: billion-dollar budget and new debts!

In the Carinthian state parliament, there are fundamental decisions about the budgetary balance, which according to the report of the ST. Pöltner Zeitung will be decided in the coming days. Negotiations for the Landes budget 2025 were intense and ran over almost 20 hours on two days of meeting, with a minus of almost 13 million shillings planned. The focus of the debates is the expenditure for essential areas such as education, health care and infrastructure, which are of great importance for the population.

The state government's financial situation is thus tense up again, since stagnating earnings shares represent a high source of income.
