Breisach, Deutschland - A radiant day for education! The community school in Hohberg and the Rheinauen primary school in Sasbach am Kaiserstuhl were awarded the prestigious Upper Rhine seal in Breisach on Wednesday in Breisach. This honor, which is awarded by the Freiburg regional council, is a sign of the outstanding cross-border commitment of the schools in Baden-Württemberg. With this award, a total of 43 Upper Rhine schools in the region have now been honored, proof of strong cooperation across the borders!

President Carsten Gabbert praised the excellent schools as "bridge builders". "The Oberrhein seal makes its long-standing cross-border commitment visible," he emphasized. The schools not only receive a wooden badge, but also a certificate that recognizes their constant activities and projects that are carried out in partnership with schools in Alsace. Gabbert underlined the importance of these initiatives: "Through this commitment, the schools give young people our common values in Europe. They contribute to a peaceful and fertile coexistence in the border region."
