Strengthen parents: New offer for holiday care in Neustadt-Weiden!

Neustadt an der Weinstraße, Deutschland - in the district of Neustadt a.d.waldnaab and the city of Weiden i.d.opf. a new initiative was launched to support parents. The alliance for the Neustadt-Weiden family has released a flyer for holiday care and starts the event series "Strengthen parents". These measures aim to relieve working parents who are faced with around 15 weeks of vacation for their schoolchildren every year.

The new flyer offers a comprehensive overview of the available holiday offers in Weiden and the district of Neustadt. He lists various holiday campaigns in the district municipalities as well as full and multi-day care offers. The offers are aimed at children from primary school age and include movement, handicrafts and play options. Parents are encouraged to contact the respective provider directly in order to obtain detailed information and registration options.

Event series "Strengthen parents"

The “Strengthening parents” event series takes place from January to April 2025 and comprises a total of twelve events. Five of them are carried out online and seven in presence. The aim of this series is to create a low -threshold and easily accessible offer for parents. The online events enable participation in home, which means that challenges such as distance and childcare can be better overcome. All events are free and are aimed at parents whose children are between pregnancy and about twelve to thirteen years old. These events are organized by various local institutions, including the Volkshochschule Weiden-Neustadt and the pregnancy consultancy Donum Vitae.
