New club home for Admira Dornbirn: After fire, a new start begins!
Dornbirn, Österreich - On Monday morning there was a devastating fire in Dornbirn in the clubhouse of the ADMIRA sports club. The flames that completely destroyed the building spread quickly, while fortunately no people were present. The fire, which broke out at around 8 a.m., left considerable damage to the facilities, including balls, dresses and changing rooms. The city of Dornbirn, owner of the clubhouse, is already planning the first measures to restore the clubhouse. Mayor Andrea Kaufmann (ÖVP) said that provisional solutions should be created until a new club home was built in spring 2026. The burned -down club home had only been built 15 years ago and a review of the existing floor slab for possible reuse was initiated.
