In a solemn act, representatives of the Aquaconsult company and local politicians have set the groundbreaking ceremony for the new company headquarters in Traiskirchen, Lower Austria. Aquaconsult invests over four million euros in the construction of the new office building, which will expand capacity in production and research. The planned completion of the new building is scheduled for the end of 2025. President Hirokazu Ishida from Sanki Engineering Group emphasized how important this step is for the continuous growth of the company. aquaconsult, born from a small family company in 1986, has developed into a global player in ventilation technology with the help of continuous research and development. Their products, the Aerostrip® strip ventilation, are now in use in over 2,500 sewage treatment plants worldwide. The new company headquarters will not only offer modern office and storage areas, but also an advanced F&E area with a test tank for aerostrip technology. Managing Director Gerald Glaninger explained that this offers the opportunity to test products under varying conditions, which enables the solutions to be optimized. Part of the investments flows into the installation of a photovoltaic system on the existing building. This system produces around 164.82 MWh solar power annually and enables Aquaconsult to generate energy for production and the rechargeable company vehicles themselves. This underlines the company's commitment to position itself as an energy -neutral manufacturer, which is of central importance for the area of sewage treatment technology.
