Noise protection for new construction area: Mayor announces planning!
For the newly planned Mother Valley III construction area, the development of a noise protection concept is required in order to meet the requirements of housing construction. The costs for noise protection are passed on to the property buyers. Mayor Volker Hemrich emphasized that there is still interest of potential builders and there are no cancellations.
Despite the high volume of traffic on the state road towards Roden, the construction area only requires a noise barrier with a height of 1.60 meters. The committee also attaches great importance to an appealing village view, especially at the entrance to the town. Within the new building area, two full floors plus roof expansion with a knee stock of a maximum of 1.50 meters are provided. The draft was accepted with only one vote.
Next steps and budget planning
The next step includes the creation of the urban development concept and the preparation for the authorities. In the same session, the municipal council also dealt with the household 2025. Mayor Hemrich presented a list of projects and measures that are to be taken into account in the budget. Planned projects include the upgrading of the fire protection flaps in the Schlossparkhalle, the renovation of the passage through the town and the continuation of the study for the sewage treatment plant.
municipal councilors were asked to submit suggestions for the budget. These suggestions include the planting of Christmas trees, measures for interior development in the old town and the construction of a new cemetery in Herrengasse.
