Citizens' initiative is fighting for natural playground: preservation for families in Mils!
The citizens' initiative in Mils is passionate about the preservation of the valuable natural play park, which extends over 4,700 square meters. This playground is the last retreat for families in Mils-Nord and, with its more than 30 trees, suspension bridges and a tree house, offers a unique scope for children. Lara Fritz from the initiative emphasizes that one is by no means against affordable living or against the construction of new children's nativity scenes, but rather for the preservation of the playground in its current form. For the initiative, the Natural Park is a cross -generational meeting point that offers design options for all age groups, as can be read in the ORF Tyrol report.
The Mayor of Mils, Daniela Kampfl, sees the project differently. It emphasizes the urgency of a new, contemporary space for the crèche currently housed in elementary school. A space designed according to the needs of the children with sufficient space for employees, bedrooms and exercise rooms is essential. Here she sees the future of early childhood care in the village, while the citizens' initiative is worried about the preservation of the valuable natural area, as bbns.info reports.
