Lower Austria's success model: 30 years of support for companies!
The Lower Austrian participation model has established itself as a crucial success factor for the regional economy and celebrates outstanding support for companies for 25 years. It has approved 721 participations since 1993, including 21 in the past year alone. With this model, Lower Austria has taken on a pioneering role across Austria by creating a tailor -made financing solution for small and medium -sized companies (SMEs). So far, this initiative has given 570 domestic companies a total volume of 270 million euros, which has a remarkable leverage on the creation of jobs. Last year alone, around 2,400 jobs were created or preserved, as noebeg.at reported.
The handling takes place via the Lower Austrian Bürgagen und Beteiligungen GmbH (NÖbeg), which acts as a reliable partner of the Lower Austrian economy. With the provision of funded capital, the Lower Austrian investments in innovative projects support sustainable growth. The Governor of Lower Austria, Johanna Mikl-Leitner, emphasizes that each funded euro triggers three euros in investments. Companies such as the Baumgartner and Landhotel Wachau furniture manufacturer draw immense advantages from this support. Last week, the liability framework of the model was increased from 73 to 100 million euros, a decision that reflects the persistently high demand, such as ots.at
The participation model once again shows how successful cooperation between the country, the Chamber of Commerce and banks helps companies in Lower Austria to exploit their full potential. Innovative companies that are ready to grow and invest find targeted support here, which ensures the economic stability of the region in the long term.
