Full closures of Landsberger Allee: Traffic collapse in spring 2025!
In spring 2025, road users in Berlin-Marzahn are facing considerable restrictions. Due to extensive construction work at the traffic junction of Landsberger Allee, several night closures are planned. This work began in April 2024 and first concentrated on the bridge node 1, which affects several bridges, such as full closures and construction phases
The first full closures of Landsberger Allee are planned for the period from January 10th to 11th, 2025 and January 15, 2025. Further closures are due on January 28th and 30th as well as on February 1 and on March 19 and 20. The construction work includes the establishment of new finish steel composite, which requires the complete closure of the road. The tram and pedestrian and cycling are not affected by these closures, which ensures relief, such as EIBS noted. The hardware store on the Marzahn traffic node is the result of years of planning and is intended to significantly improve the transport infrastructure. The aim of these construction measures is to redesign the node, including the replacement of the bridges on the track systems of the Deutsche Bahn and the implementation of safe traffic areas for all road users. Particular attention is paid to the connection of the adjacent industrial areas, which is intended to increase traffic safety.
