In the heart of the popular Silvretta Montafon ski area in Vorarlberg, there were several exciting developments. On January 8, 2025, however, serious incidents occurred that caused excitement. A 56-year-old teacher from Bavaria supervised a group of eight students during a school ski course. When she had to stop at Blue Piste No. 1a around 2:30 p.m. to wait for two stragglers, she instructed the remaining six students to drive to the Eichenhof valley station, which is around 150 meters away. But the students did not listen to the instructions and drove off in the steep, right slopes, where the gradient is 20 degrees. Tragically, an eleven -year -old student from Germany crashed into the house wall of the valley station and was seriously injured. He had to be flown to the St. Johann district hospital with an emergency medical helicopter and was hospitalized there, as ORF reports .
