Homeless person loses 42,000 euros after a wet inheritance dispute!
An unfortunate incident occurred at the Schwandorfer train station when a 50-year-old homeless person came as a surprise to 42,000 euros in cash due to an unexpected inheritance. The man treated himself to a new e-bike and alcohol because of the joy of it. However, the alcoholic led to the fact that he finally left the money and his new bike at the train station while he was drunk, like the Süddeutsche Zeitung reported.
The situation, however, took a turn when attentive employees of Deutsche Bahn near the tracks not only found the new bicycle, but also a fabric bag in which the cash was stowed away. The alarmed police immediately blocked the area and examined the objects. Officials from the Schwandorf police were able to remember having brought the man to emergency shelter the evening before because of his alcohol level. This turned out to be a stroke of luck because he was the rightful owner of the things found. "Trembling and in a bright excitement," the man thanked the officials after whom he had returned to his money, as well as informed.
