Hannes Großkopf and Julia Wieszt: Triumph during the winter run in Göppingen!

Göppingen, Deutschland - The start of the DJK winter run series in Göppingen developed into a power demonstration by the eight-time series winner Hannes Großkopf from the Sparda team Rechberghausen. On Sunday, February 20, 2024, he demonstrated his extraordinary skills in the first run of the three -part series. With a time of 33:30 minutes over 10 kilometers, he left his pursuers far behind. Heiko Thiele from the Süßen endurance sports team followed in second place with a gap of 38 seconds. Großkopf stated that his intensive training on the train in Gmünd brought the decisive advantages for this victory, so that he created clear conditions in the first part. His next goals are the second part of the series, which will take place on January 25, 2025, and another victory in the winter run series, such as the Remszeitung reported.

But not only Großkopf shone in Göppingen. His teammate Julia Wieszt also caused a sensation when she had clearly granted the women's race in the second round and ran as the winner with a time of 40:33 minutes. Their persecutors, Judith Mess and Linda Grau, could not hold their own, even though they delivered an exciting head-to-head race. Wieszt once again showed her strength and made impressively clear that it belongs to the favorite group, such as the Schwäbische Post reported.
