This exciting news came from the Bocholt location on Tuesday, where the company drives its expansion into the booming Chinese market. With this takeover, Autoneum will not only significantly expand its customer base, but also significantly increase the annual turnover!

The Jiangsu Huanyu Group, founded in 2001, is a heavyweight in the field of acoustic and heat management and supplies significant Chinese automobile manufacturers such as BYD, BAIC and GAC. Your product range ranges from interior equipment such as carpets and roof skills to important components for commercial vehicles. Autoneum plans to maintain the name Jiangsu Huanyu and hopes for this takeover valuable synergies in technology and purchasing.

China is the world's largest automotive market with an annual production of around 30 million vehicles. The takeover will not only help Autoneum increase its footprint in this dynamic market, but also to facilitate access to the largest local manufacturers. CEO EELCO Spoelder emphasizes that this step brings the company closer to its goal of generating 20 percent of group sales in Asia in the medium term. The takeover is expected to be completed in March 2025 after the authorities have given their approval.
