TV Rosenthal: Honors and future plans at the general meeting!

The TV Rosenthal made significant decisions at its general meeting on December 11, 2024 and at the same time recognized the services of its members. The meeting focused on the appointment of four new honorary members and the award with the bronze badge of honor of the West German Tennis Association (WTV) for Dr. Jörg Breuer and Peter Theil, who particularly advised over 60 years of association and long board work. "Both shaped club life for many years with great voluntary work," said chairwoman Claudia Dietzmann. The association now has over 250 members and proudly presented that 14 teams, including six youth teams and eight adult teams, successfully participated in the game. Investments and digitization in focus

The meeting also reflected the extensive construction work of the past year, with investments of over 400,000 euros, which significantly improved the association's infrastructure. This includes the conversion of the tennis courts into all-weather places as well as the renewal of water pipes and the creation of a new multicourt small field. Further measures are planned for 2025, including the new building of a parking space. In addition, the association decided to introduce its own TV Rosenthal Tennis app, which will enable a more efficient organization of club life. This app will offer functions such as membership management and current club information, which should further promote commitment within the association.
