Athletic award: 16 Tyrolean schools shine in school sports!

In the Kitzbühel district, a remarkable initiative to promote movement in schools has received great recognition. A total of 16 Tyrolean schools were awarded the School Sports seal 2024 and to appreciate movement. This seal of approval, which is awarded by the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research, rewardes schools that stand out through a wide range of sport, regular participation in competitions and innovative exercise projects.

The award recently took place in the country house, where Council of Education Cornelia Hagele praised the achievements of the schools. This award comes in a context in which movement plays a central role in everyday school life. The excellent schools implement creative methods to integrate sports and movement into different forms of teaching. Above all, projects such as moving breaks and sporting competitions are in the foreground.
