Spectacular gates and an injury: referee hall master in Kyritz!
The 2nd referee hall master in the Kyritz sports and cultural center attracted numerous teams on Saturday and offered exciting football. The tournament was organized by the referee committee in the football group Prignitz/Ruppin, who wants to establish this event as a platform for the Brandenburg Schiri Championship. The tournament took place for the first time in the Neuruppin sports center last year.
A total of eight teams from different regions took part, including Prignitz/Ruppin, Oberhavel/Barnim, Ostbrandenburg, Uckermark, Dahme/Fläming and Südbrandenburg. In a game mode "everyone against everyone", a total of 89 goals were scored in 28 games, which corresponds to an average value of over three goals per game. The tournament winner comes from Oberhavel/Barnim 1, followed by Ostbrandenburg 2 and Ostbrandenburg 1, which took second and third place with the same goal difference. Justin Sommer from East Brandenburg was recognized as the best scorer, while Alexander Berth von Oberhavel/Barnim emerged as the best goalkeeper. Joey Werner, who did not work as a referee, received the award as the best player because he played for the Uckermark.
Unfortunately, there was an incident in which a player from the Oberhavel/Barnim team had to be taken to the hospital with a slight concussion. Despite this incident, the main goal of the tournament, the promotion of the arbitrator's growth in Brandenburg, was achieved.
