München, Deutschland - The famous conductor Sir Simon Rattle will be awarded the renowned Ernst von Siemens Musikpreis this year, as the Ernst von Siemens Musikstiftung announced. Rattle, a British Maestro, is honored for his outstanding interpretations and his commitment to various musical genres. With a prize money of 250,000 euros, this award is one of the most important music prices worldwide and will be awarded on May 17th in the Herculess Hall of the Munich Residence, such as Musik Heute.
