Ravensburg brewery inspires silver at the European Beer Star 2024!

The Ravensburger Brewery Leibinger recently was happy about an outstanding success: Your yeast wheat "Seeweisse" was awarded the prestigious European Beer Star 2024 with the silver medal in the "South German-Style Hell" category. The brewery received this honor on November 27th during the ceremonial award ceremony at the Braubeviale trade fair. Simon Niklas, the brewery brewery, expressed his joy about this award: "It is an indescribable feeling of hearing from a jury of international experts that our maritime white is one of the best beers in the world." Over 2360 beers from more than 50 countries took part in the competition, which were evaluated by a jury of 150 experienced beer connoisseurs in a blind tasting.

The evaluation criteria were, among other things, optics, smell and - particularly important - the taste. The European Beer Star is one of the hardest beer competitions worldwide, in which only the top three beers in a category are awarded gold, silver or bronze. In the 2024 edition, beers were tasted in 75 different categories, including less well-known beer styles such as grod cords and wood-barrel-bearing specialties. These strict guidelines and the high level of quality make the awards particularly valuable for the breweries that participate.

The lake white is a traditional high -fermenting wheat beer, which is produced according to a specially developed recipe. The brewery uses the finest pure breeding yeast and regional raw materials that lead to the exquisite aroma in a long maturation process. Delicate citrus notes, combined with subtle mango and banana notes, ensure particularly fruity beer enjoyment. This success is not only a sign of the high quality of the Leibinger brewery, but also positions the lake white on an international platform that continuously transforms the beer market and distinguishes the best creations from all over the world.
