ÖSV-Skiheros without victory: Kriechmayr only wafer-thin past the podium!

In the Super-G race in Kvitfjell, the Austrian ski men continue to be there without a win after the 32nd World Cup race. Vincent Kriechmayr narrowly missed the podium and finished fifth, only two hundredths of a second separated him from third place. The victory went to the experienced Dominik Paris from South Tyrol, who prevailed with a time of 1: 08.98 and thus already celebrated his fifth triumph in Kvitfjell, as laola1.at . James Crawford from Canada finished second and Miha Hrobat from Slovenia secured third place.

for Marco Odermatt, the defending champion in the Super-G, the race was less pleasant. He came to fourth place (+0.48 seconds behind the winner) and had to satisfy himself for the first time this season, in which he already won the small crystal ball, with a place outside the podium. After a fall of his last rival Mattia Casse, the winning of the crystal ball for Odermatt was already secured before this race, which gave the Nidwaldner a further award in the current season, such as Srf.ch reported.

The best results and other placements

Stefan Eichberger delivered a remarkable result and achieved his best World Cup place in the Super-G with ninth place. Other ÖSV athletes were also able to collect points, including Lukas Feurstein in 14th place and Raphael Haaser. The result contains tension for the upcoming races, where a giant slalom and a slalom are planned in Hafjell. The eyes are now focused on the final event in Sun Valley, American, where the season is coming to an end.
