Neustädter company Fricke: Bavaria seal for environmental protection!
Neustadt bei Coburg, Deutschland - The company D. Fricke from Neustadt near Coburg has again received the Bavarian environmental badge. This Award takes place as part of the Free State of Bavaria's environmental and climate pact. Managing Director Ralf Fricke announced that the company was awarded in the environmental pact for 25 years last year. With the new certification, the company can use the logo of the environmental and climate pact for another three years. The certificate was presented by District Administrator Sebastian Straubel on behalf of Environment Minister Thorsten Glauber.
The company D. Fricke specializes in the assessment and renovation of channels and pursues environmentally conscious practices. Among other things, it uses electric vehicles in her fleet and plans to build a photovoltaic system on the company roofs. Bavarian climate protection award 2024
In a further context, Bavaria's Environment Minister Thorsten Glauber awarded the Bavarian Climate Protection Award in Hirschaid on November 12, 2024, which is endowed with a total of 15,000 euros. This award is awarded for special initiatives to protect the climate and is looking for projects with a well -thought -out overall concept for climate protection or to adapt to climate change. The competition organization is responsible for the State Agency for Energy and Climate Protection (Lenk) in the State Office for the Environment (LFU).The jury assessed factors such as originality, innovation, transferability, sustainability, continuity and transparency. The four award winners of the Bavarian Climate Protection Award 2024 are:
- Congregation of the Sisters of the Redeemer (Würzburg): First photovoltaic system on a large monument (prize money 3,000 euros)
- Community Kitchen gGmbH (Munich): School canteens with a focus on food surpluses (prize money 4,000 euros)
- Initiative group of climate protection managers of the Nuremberg Metropolitan Region (Nuremberg): CO2 Challenge (prize money 8,000 euros)
- municipality of Fuchstal (Fuchstal): Energy future Fuchstal in the smart region (award without prize money)
award winners also receive a price sculpture and an individual image film via their initiative. For the Bavarian Climate Protection Award 2025, suggestions can be submitted by January 31, 2025. For 2025, prize money of a total of 25,000 euros is available, such as Environmental Pact Bayern .
