The jury, consisting of Katrin Mayer, Sebastian Schnitzer and Elias Zuckschwerdt, had the demanding task of choosing the best talent. The first prize in the e-music/classical category went to the clarinetists Simon Eisele and Thorben Ole Maier, who were awarded a price of 1,500 euros each. Luis Peixoto took second place during the third prize to Johannes Berner. Hannah Below won in the Singer/Songwriter area, but was not present for health reasons. The first prize in the production/studio category was awarded to Jonathan Liebelt by the Atmo & Ease group, supplemented by two more prices for aspiring artists. Surprisingly, the stuff House Disco Crew received a special price, as they link traditional brass music and modern disco rhythms and thus found great applause from the audience, which was also recognized by the jurors, as was on lrasbk.de is reported.

The Cultural Prize Schwarzwald-Baar is jointly initiated by the regional administration and the Sparkasse to promote the cultural diversity and talent of the region. There is no age limit for applicants, whereby the price acts as an important platform for young artists who get the chance to promote their artistic careers and become known beyond the borders of their home region. District Administrator Hinterseh emphasized the importance of the award: "We know that our cultural award is not only financial support, but also a recognized award in the career of the artists."
