Culture offensive in Lower Austria: Communities shape the future of education!

On the occasion of the upcoming municipal council election on January 26, 2025, Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner confirms that these areas represent fundamental columns for a functioning society. With an innovative concept that was specially developed for the cultural managers and volunteers, the organization promotes tailor -made cultural broadcasts and offers support through networking meetings and symposia. The aim is to further raise awareness of the importance of culture and education in the municipal decision-making process, such as mkw.nrw

The Kultur.Region. Lower Austria has already achieved more than 150 cultural managers in 117 municipalities through the networking tour "Culture needs you". This initiative aims to strengthen regional culture and promote social cohesion. These efforts are particularly important to increase the joint participation and cultural diversity in the communities. In addition to funding, the focus is on active networking between local and volunteer cultural work and better visibility of the cultural offers on site.
