solemn cooperation on crisis protection

The cooperation between Wemag and THW was originally launched as a result of the 2013 Elbe flood. The aim was to design a permanent partnership in order to be able to react better to challenges in the field of power supply in the future. The regular training and exercises of the THW helpers at transformer stations and other critical infrastructures have proven themselves and the effectiveness of the aid measures have increased enormously. Michael Teuber, head of the THW regional office in Schwerin, expressed his joy about the award because she appreciates the special commitment and the achievements of all volunteers.

The close cooperation has strengthened the technical infrastructure in the region and increased trust in the security of supply, such as "https://www.helfende-hand-foerderpreis.de/die-projekte/2024/10-kooperation-getz-gmbh-und-hw-geme--fuer-die security"> help.de reported. Both organizations are planning to continue their successful cooperation in the future in order to continue to ensure a valuable contribution to the stability of the regional infrastructure. Through financial and material support, WEMAG Netz GmbH ensures that the THW is optimally equipped for use, and this synergy will remain decisive for security of care in the coming years.
