Healthy clubs in Bleiburg: role models for movement and community!
In the Jufa-Halle in Bleiburg, a solemn award took place last Saturday, in which the Naturfreunde local groups Bleiburg and Petzen, entitled "Healthy Association", were honored. This award ceremony recognizes organizations that are sustainable for more exercise and health awareness among the population. "You are role models when it comes to demonstrating how much you can do for your well -being," emphasized Health Councilor Beate Prettner, who was awarded. The nature lovers Bleiburg have been offering a successful “gymnastics for young at heart” for four years, which, thanks to a physiotherapist, attracts more and more participants. In addition, they have been organizing the popular “Fit March” on the national holiday for twelve years and have been offering climbing offers for children for five years.
The nature lovers also rely on climbing sports and provide schools free of charge, which gives more and more children and adolescents for regular training. For 2025, the construction of a "ninja course" is also planned, which should further enrich the offer. The awarding of the awards took place as part of the final tournament of the Boulder courses for children, which was accompanied by representatives of the community, such as Mayor Stefan Visotschnig and other members of the state parliament, such as Klick-kaernten reported.
memory culture in 2025
At the same time, 2025 is all about memory across Europe. It marks 80 years after the liberation from the Nazi regime and the establishment of democracy in Europe. A central concern of this year of commemoration is the culture of remembrance to keep the teachings from the past in consciousness. The elementary school Bleiburg, led by director Mateja Mesner, has actively participated in this important topic and designs the school year in a age -appropriate manner in order to make the effects of history visible to the present. Mesner, even the descendant of a displaced Carinthian Slovenen, opened the heart of the children with her moving family history and explained how fragile peace can be.
A significant initiative is the construction of a monument in St. Michael, which will serve as a symbol of the memory and the reminder. Pupils at the Bleiburg elementary school work closely with the artist Albert Mesner. A special project week under the title "Faustlos", in which creativity is promoted by dance, music, comic and photography, will be presented on April 11th in Bleiburg, which underlines the importance of peace and tolerance, as MeinDzeur .
