VAZ St. Pölten, Österreich - Last night, on February 13, 2025, the best apprentices in Lower Austria were celebrated in the Vaz St. Pölten at the "Siegerlounge - The Festival of Apprentices". Under the motto "We Are Future", Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner and WKNÖ President Wolfgang Ecker presented the awards for outstanding services in the state and federal apprenticeship competitions as well as at the "World Skills", the international championship of the apprentices. A total of 783 young people have completed their apprenticeship with distinction, and the teams from Lower Austria won two gold medals in concrete construction and for the florists, as well as a silver medal in the painter at the Worldskills 2024.
