Volunteer hero: Bernhard Serwuschok has been supporting Silesia for 25 years
Vechta, Deutschland - In Vechta, 67-year-old Bernhard Serwuschok is honored for his outstanding voluntary work! In the Goldenstedter town hall, he received the "Good Tat of September" award for his selfless commitment and the organization of over 300 auxiliary transports to Poland. Even after his retirement, Serwuschok remains active and takes care of the procurement of relief goods. His whole life was shaped by the willingness to help others. Even if the vacation was sacrificed for humanity missions, his will remains strong to guide guided tours for various aid actions. "I have experienced poverty myself," he says, thus shaping the image of a man who, despite personal setbacks, including two heart attacks, tirelessly help and gives hope.
