Illegal cheese deals: Police raise the alarm in favorites!
In the case of extensive control in favorites, an illegal sale of raw milk and cheese was uncovered, as reported by ORF. The specialists of the city police found raw milk in two 20-liter canisters, which reached alarming temperatures of over 12 degrees Celsius, and thus was far above the permissible maximum limit of 6 degrees Celsius. In addition, there were around 100 kilograms of cheese without origin or durability, which is a serious violation of the food regulations. The unsalable products were immediately destroyed, and legal steps against the sellers were initiated.
dramatic violations in pharmacies
In a further development that illuminates pharmacy adhoc, some pharmacies received harsh criticism due to their practices in dealing with medicines. In view of cost pressure and lack of personnel, some pharmacies are reportedly saving the manual input of expiry data, which can potentially lead to the submission of expired medication. The pharmacists often rely on fictitious decay data and assume that delivered medication will be at least half a year. This negligence can have serious consequences, since the drugs are not pulled out of traffic in time, which endangers the safety of the patient.
A pharmacierate emphasized that the handling of expired medication is not negotiable: at first violations there is a warning, but repeated violations can be punished with a fine. The pharmacists are obliged to store expired products in quarantine, and systematic disregard for these regulations is directly related to the security of the patient. To address this problem, machine manufacturers work on solutions that use 2D codes to automatically record durability data and thus ensure better control.
