Inquiries for card payment options are increasing and some potential donors are skeptical about Caritas. "People wonder how much of the collecting amount gets home," said Bale. Currently around 400 volunteers are traveling in March to collect donations for people in need in Vorarlberg. Caritas collected 180,000 euros last year - this year it should be even more to continue local projects. Some projects are the 16 learning cafes that are supported directly by this donation. In the diocese of Fulda, the Caritas collections take place twice a year, with committed volunteers ask for financial support.
