The advent calendar is more than just a festive decoration; He also tells a story. Since its introduction, the motifs have been delivered by various artists, from children's book authors Janosch to New York pop art artist James Rizzi. This year, the community foundation with Jutta Votteler won a talented painter and graphic artist who is known with her impressive coloring ads and also exhibits internationally, such as Treffpunkt-pfalz.de . Votteler, who born in Ludwigshafen and grew up in Neustadt, brings in her own, distinctive handwriting, which is reflected in the landscapes, natural representations and animal pictures.

The community foundation is currently looking for sponsors who can donate 1200 euros each to support the project. In return, each sponsor receives an original image from the town hall facade. In parallel to the opening of the Advent calendar, an exhibition with other works by Jutta Votteler takes place in Villa Böhm, which will also be shown until January 12th and which is one of the city's attractions.
