New chief medical team in the Vienna Red Cross: challenges and opportunities!
In the Vienna Red Cross, an exciting upheaval is imminent: From January 1, 2025, a new chief medical team will take over the management of Austria's largest humanitarian organization. At the top is univ.-Prof. Dr. Siegfried Meryn, a renowned internist and professor of internal medicine. successful year and new faces
The year 2022 was characterized by impressive performance and a high degree of human engagement for the Vienna Red Cross. Over 317,075 hours of voluntary work were done, and refugees from Ukraine were supported with 1,000 sleeping places in the Althanstrasse arrival center. The number of people provided by Team Austria Tafel was 63,652.
