Delmenhorst, Deutschland - A new theater ensemble called "Delmödianten" was founded in Delmenhorst to continue the successful implementation of open -air performances. The "Delmödianten", consisting of Johannes Mitternacht, Marcel Krohn and Marie-Theres Schwinn, performed the piece "A Faustian Life", a revision of Goethe's Faust. The other founding members also include actors Johannes Mitternacht, Marie-Theres Schwinn and Orhan Müstak, who has a personal connection to the city because he went to school there and his parents live in Delmenhorst.

In the coming months, the association plans to expand to expand further members and offer various pieces for the open-air theater, including a classic comedy, a chanson program and a modern piece. The ideas for winter production are also in the planning, but not yet confirmed in a close framework. The performances depend on the available funding, whereby Marcel Krohn is optimistic that support will receive support despite budget cuts.

In 2023, the ensemble again demonstrated its work by organizing the open-air theater with "a faustal life". The premiere took place on July 21, followed by six further performance dates. The project is supported by the Evangelical City Church, which has set itself the goal of a permanent establishment of the offer and the revitalization of the church square, such as Evangelische Zeitung reported.
