Landjugend Carärnten sets signs: Together for customs and the environment!

As part of the “Tat.Ort Jugend” project, these started numerous initiatives that are intended to strengthen the community and preserve cultural customs. Particularly noteworthy is the “Customs - Need” project in the St. Veit district, in which the participants produced 39 short videos that document various customs. Laura Zwischenberger, project coordinator, legitimizes the initiative: "Our basic idea was to get the customs back in front of the curtain after two years of coronabed break and to promote the rural youth as a customs." They were awarded first place in Carinthia for this great commitment and will take part in the "Bestof" federal project competition in Wieselburg, so reports Zeitung .

In addition to working with traditional customs, the rural youth Tiffen has launched an innovative project in which they are trying to teach wild crows of collecting garbage.
