Commission for dealing with sexual abuse completely again!

The independent Referring Commission (UAK) in the diocese of Speyer has completely started her work after Dr. med. Gerburg Zech, Heinrich Jöckel and Bernhard Arnold were newly involved. This future -oriented initiative aims to examine sexual assault within the diocese. Wolfgang Becker, a long -time commission member, expressed a positive statement about the new line -up and explained: "I am very happy that the longer personnel vacancy has finally come to an end and that the Commission can now continue its work with a complete line -up." The UAK was founded in 2021 to quantify the sexual abuse in the diocese and to explore how to deal with the perpetrators and those affected, such as Caritas Speyer will be decisive to process and inform abuse cases.
