Great solidarity concert in Vienna: Ukraine and Austria combined!
An impressive concert that touches the hearts! On February 21, 2025, the Marx Halle in Vienna became the scene of a solidarity concert, on the occasion of the third day of the war in Ukraine. Austrian and Ukrainian stars such as Lemo, Esther Graf, Shumei, Zlata Ognevich and Tina Karol appear to help almost 100,000 Ukrainian war refugees in Austria and the auxiliary projects of neighboring in need. The event, which begins at 5:30 p.m., promises to become an unforgettable experience in which the moderation is also shared between Austria and Ukraine, represented by Lukas Schweighofer and Daryna Tregubova.

The event is not only a musical highlight, but also an important opportunity to draw attention to the emergency of the people in Ukraine. Dr. Cornelius Granig, President of the Association "All for Ukraine - Help for Ukraine", emphasizes that refugee people were received with open arms, but are faced with great challenges. "A return home is not possible for most," said Granig, who sees the event as a way to give back the refugees a piece of home feeling and to help them find their way around the new environment. The concert will also be broadcast on ORF 1 on February 22nd in ORF III on February 23, which significantly increases the range of the event.
The supporters of this initiative are diverse, with contributions from the Austrian federal government, companies such as Strabag and Schachinger and Vienna Airport. Prof. Pius Strobl, ORF main department head Corporate Social Responsibility, emphasizes that ORF wants to show solidarity with Ukraine and actively support the important work of neighbor in need-aside over 30 years in humanitarian aid.
