Festive Advent magic in Großglobnitz: organ sounds and joy of children!
On December 3, 2024, a touching Advent celebration took place in the parish church of Großglobnitz, in which Gabriele Kramer-Webinger's organ sounded a festive atmosphere. The men's singing club Schrems-Vitis offered contemplative songs, while the choir "Sound" with rhythmic sounds provided a lively-melodic conversation. It was also particularly appealing that after the event, the folk school children sold gingerbread, the proceeds of which benefited the "Hands Up for Down" association, which campaigned for projects to support people with Down syndrome. In this regard, Noen.at took part in the event in order to recognize the valuable work of this association.
In parallel to this event, the 25th anniversary of the Zwettler Bachtage was also celebrated, which was traditionally celebrated with a solemn service and a festive concert in the parish church. On Saturday and Sunday, visitors enjoyed the virtuoso sounds of Gabriele Kramer-Webinger, who masterfully served the keys. These celebrations, such as nön.at, was a look back on the beginning, as 2000 of the 250th birthday of the composer Johann Sebastian Bach was celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm. This year's celebrations appreciate the significant progress and successes that have achieved the Bachtage over the years. These two events not only unite musical enjoyment, but also the desire to promote community and support for people in need through cultural activities. The positive feedback from visitors show that such events are valued in the region and play an important role in the social structure.
