Wiener Stadthalle, 1150 Wien, Österreich - The show "No Limits" by Holiday on Ice promises a spectacular ice skating performance with innovative elements and impressive technology. Creative director Kim Gavin, known for his work on well-known shows and concerts such as the Las Vegas show by Adele, was inspired by the world of computer games in the development of choreography. The approach in which the ice -running avatars of a couple slide through different levels enables a fascinating visual diversity that captivates the audience with elaborate scenes and modern music for various generations, such as Kleine Zeitung reported.
technological masterpieces on the ice
The show shines through unique technical highlights: Over 200 light balls that move at different speeds and brightness create a floating illusion and fascinating effects. Pyrotechnics are installed on the skates of the skaters, which also makes the performances exciting, as the chief technician Kuba Szememberski emphasizes in an interview. With a pyro waterfall and flame thrower, the shows become breathtaking experiences, accompanied by more than 300 individually designed costumes that require a quick choreography of the costume change. Despite this technical expansion, figure skating remains the heart, as cast member Julie Fontbonne clarifies.
The first performance of "No Limits" is from January 16 to 26, 2024 in the Wiener Stadthalle, followed by other events in Innsbruck. This makes the show a climax in the event calendar and offers spectators a unique experience that goes far beyond conventional figure skating shows. Interested parties can already secure tickets.
