Obligation to work in Schwerin: confusion about citizens' pawns!

In the state capital Schwerin, a clarification regarding the labor obligation for citizen applicants and asylum seekers, which has led to confusion in reporting. Currently there are only 31 work opportunities in eight ongoing measures in social providers in Schwerin. The work opportunities should primarily be provided by non -profit organizations such as daycare centers or the board.

If the obligation to work is not fulfilled, the risk of state benefits threatens. Mayor Rico Badenschier (SPD) is to develop a concept in cooperation with the job center and social organizations. Although Badenschier voted against the application of the AfD, which called for the introduction of an employment obligation for asylum seekers, the measure was nevertheless decided. CDU parliamentary group leader Gert Rudolf underlined the need for consideration for state services, while similar measures in Thuringia have already been successfully implemented.
