Elisabeth Anselm, managing director of the aid organization, explains that all women could put down their work in care professions such as childcare or nursing, Austria would immediately face serious problems: over 377,000 children would be unhapponed and around 159,000 people in need of care could not be taken care of. The absence of these women could bring the entire infrastructure of the country to a standstill.
