Health care in danger: politicians should act!
Weihburggasse 10-12, 1010 Wien, Österreich - Vienna and all of Austria face an alarming situation in health care. The increasing groupization not only endangers the quality of medical care, but also threatens medical freelance. A urgent call from the chamber for doctors in Vienna calls on politics to protect our health system from the greedy hands of international speculators. According to the health journalist and author Martin Rümmele, international examples show the dramatic consequences of the Privatization of health care for patients. Rümmele illuminates in his new book "Sarfly Spared", such as corporations, consultants and politics let the health system bleed out.
To discuss the explosive situation, a press conference will take place on Tuesday, March 11th, at 10 a.m. The venue is the chamber for doctors, Weihburggasse 10-12 in Vienna. The Koblenz medical profession will also address the impending crisis in the pension emergency , which was triggered by concentration on profit maximization and the migration of specialist personnel. The problem ranges from inadequate resources to a worrying quality of care that no longer meets the needs of the population. These developments require urgent political measures and a rethink in health care to preserve the fundamental values of medical care.
